A Promise To You - From Writer to Reader

How're y'all doing
OKURRRRR

I don't know if you can tell but I've been watching a lot of RuPauls Drag Race lately.
Party.
ANYWAY enough of me being stupid.

Today in class I had an epiphany.
A reawakening if you will.
Here at Cardiff University I'm taking a Social Media Networking class and for one of the assignments I'm being asked to start another blog.  We were going through all the criteria about what makes a blog readable and what fosters an online following when I had my epiphany.  See, I was thinking about this blog specifically and why you (the reader) would take time out of your day to come read (and hopefully care) about what I have to say.  What specifically is my blog focused on and what demographic am I targeting to gain readers and support?  My honest answer to that question is I'm not sure.  I know I started this blog nearly eight months ago with the intent to create for myself an online presence and to capture my trip to Asia.
Now here I am eight months later, having gone to Asia and daily blogged that trip (see "Places I've Been") I'm left feeling unfocused.  I feel kind of like a "Jack of All Trades, Master of None." I am a life-style blogger but I also have an interest in beauty and the entertainment industry.  I also use this platform as a way to maybe express myself in a way I can't in my day to day life.

These are questions I'm still processing and I'll keep you updated on where exactly I'm wanting to take this but in the meantime I'll make a promise to you.  One of the main points I got out of today was a blog needs to be reliable.  So, wether I'm reviewing a cosmetic product or telling you how my mental health journey is going I promise to upload a blog post (at least) every Sunday.  Sometimes in life you just have to buckle down and do it.  Commit to something and see where it takes you.
So that's exactly what I'm doing.
From this point forward I will upload (at least) once a week unless I give you guys two week notice (to accommodate if I'm traveling or know I'm going to be away from reliable internet).
