Description of Project

In 2020, I joined the World Elephant Day campaign team as a Campaign Data Analyst, responsible for collecting and synthesizing key metrics into a post-campaign report. Over time, my role expanded to encompass digital strategy, managing social platforms, the website, and the email newsletter for the past two campaign cycles.

World Elephant Day, co-founded by award-winning documentary filmmaker Patricia Sims, is an internationally recognized animal rights initiative that educates the global population about the existential threats faced by elephants.

During my tenure, I collaborated with the CEO to create and publish social media content, adhering to World Elephant Day's brand and voice standards. I utilized industry-standard post-production tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, and After Effects to develop informative and engaging digital marketing materials.

Additionally, I established World Elephant Day on the Google for Non-Profit platform and facilitated the smooth transition of files and digital organization infrastructure between the CEO and contractors.

As part of my role, I created an annual digital strategy and managed social platforms, the website, and the e-newsletter for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 World Elephant Day campaigns. I consistently posted content and actively engaged with global audiences to drive participation and awareness.

Furthermore, I reviewed and compiled campaign data from Keyhole Analytics and Google Analytics into comprehensive annual reports. Since 2017, the reach of the World Elephant Day campaign has steadily increased, with over one billion global users from more than sixty countries.
