Project Description

The second project I collaborated on with the Institute for Personalised Therapeutic Nutrition was the development of ReversingPrediabetes.ca, a public resource dedicated to offering current and precise healthcare information concerning type 2 prediabetes. Throughout this project, I closely collaborated with graphic designer and illustrator Heather Curtis, dividing the project into two distinct areas of graphics/illustrations & website architecture; her obviously taking the former and myself the later.

Project Timeline & Technical Specifications

Launching mid-February 2024, the project began development in November 2023 and consisted of four milestone sections.

Initially, I utilized a content map crafted by IPTN's Director of Marketing to create low-fidelity prototype sketches for the landing page and its subsections. Presenting these concepts to IPTN's executives allowed for valuable feedback and iterations, leading to a stage where we engaged a graphic designer to assist in developing essential assets.

Subsequently, in close collaboration with Ms. Curtis, we focused on building out key sections of the website using WiX as the platform management software. As our work flow, we prioritised pages with substantial content such as How to Eat, Planning for Challenges, and FAQ.

Methodically progressing section by section, we continued to refine and expand the design materials for the remaining pages and sub-sections.

Finally, I dedicated significant time to meticulously reviewing every aspect of the website across desktop and mobile views. This thorough examination ensured consistent implementation of designs and animations. Additionally, I created the necessary PDF shopping list documents for the How to Eat page, ensuring comprehensive functionality and user experience.

Google Suite Implementation

As with all of my web design projects, I ensure that they are set up for longterm success by establishing them on the Google Suite of products; Analytics, Search Console, and, Tag Manager.
