Cosplaying Indiana Jones
Another early morning, another substandard breakfast at this hotel. To date the meals at our hotels have been pretty good, relatively speaking. I mean it's kind of hard to fuck up eggs if you have any idea what you're doing in a kitchen but here they don't even try. Just a glass of water / orange juice and some warmed up fried rice or mini hotdogs.
Anyway shitty breakfast not withstanding we made our way back to the Angkor complex for day two of trekking through the jungle. The difference today was that the temples we went to were way more spread out than yesterday. We definitely got our money's worth out of the driver because one of the temples we went to was twenty six kilometers out of the city.
I'm finding myself with somewhat of a lack of things to comment on just because although the temples are well labelled, when you get to each structure there isn't really much signage around explaining it. So because neither Jack nor I are scholars in ancient, Angkor architecture we were left slightly in the dark. Not to say we're not going to research them more it's just that there wasn't anything onsite to go off of.
I'll include some pictures of the different complexes just to give you guys an idea of what we climbed through.
