Budapest was the Buda-best (Well kinda)

These puns just keep getting better and better

It seems like a trend with me to write and post a blog the evening of and then go back over it the next morning to edit.

Yesterday was rather enjoyable despite the heat seeing as we went to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths.  It's a rather large complex near Budapest's Hero's Square.  Effectively it is just a huge public bathing structure made up of a main outdoor pool and two dozen or so smaller indoor pools of varying temperatures.  The pools draw on natural spring water that is supposed to be extremely good for your skin and just general well being.
Well actually before I get too much more into the baths I should say we also went and saw the Hungarian parliament building up close.  However it was closed that day so we weren't able to walk around inside we got a few cool pictures of the outside architecture.

But yes, back to the baths.
We arrived at the baths around one in the afternoon and ended up staying until at least five thirty.  I did that thing were you go into the steam room (which is at about 50 Celsius) and stay in there for five minutes or so before jumping into a 10 Celsius pool.  An absolute shock to the system but apparently it's super good for your circulation and such.  Me being... well me, I managed to befriend someone and so that night I was invited out to drinks with her and her friends (this is why this blog didn't go up last night).

Today has entirely been a travel day.  We had a 5.5 hour long coach to Zagreb, Croatia which is where I currently am.  I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow but I'm sure you'll see it on my social media

Till tomorrow
