Siem Reap, More Travel Days
Today started bright and early because I didn't buy anything from the market yesterday and mamma wanted a new bag. Specifically a knockoff designer one.
Getting there by nine we started looking around because I was on the hunt for the perfect one and we only had an hour. I saw one yesterday that I had really liked but the stall was one of the first we encountered so I just thought I'd be able to find it later.
Haha wrong.
But anyway I was on the hunt for a shoulder bag, preferably of the Louis Vuitton variety. One of the things that frustrated me the most about the market was the actions of the stall keepers. They just did not understand the concept of "just looking around." Apparently it's assumed that if you happen to glance at an item you then wish to purchase it. Believe me, you can't not look at what is being sold but being approached by sales people every time you stop and look at something gets super old really fast. However, after much searching, explaining to shop-keeps that I have to go and haggling for my life I found the bag that I wanted (See picture below.)
Jack and I were basically burning time until we could head to the airport and so, after several more purchases on Jacks end we made our way back to the Angkor International Hotel for the last time. Gathering our stuff from the room we handed over our key and Tuktuk-ed to the airport.
The flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is only like forty minutes so we barely got to cruising altitude before we began descending into Siem Reap international. Due to its proximity to the ancient wonder this town sprouted up in order to support the many visitors. So, in many ways it's an extreme tourist trap but hey, that's what we're here for.
Tuktuk-ing to our new hotel we have now settled in and are ready for the excursion to the Angkor Wat tomorrow.

This is what 20$ can get you.
Wandering around Phnom Penh's central market I finally came across the perfect bag.
